I’m trying to update my blog theme on here but it won’t let me save it? D: I’ve done everything correctly, I triple checked, but Tumblr keeps saying that I’ll be exiting without saving when I’ve already saved.
I’ve tried exiting anyways to see if it did save but is just being silly, but it definitely isn’t saving the changes. >_<
Is anyone else having this problem? :< Halp?
ssoysauce asked: wait did you get sacrification done underneath your boobies ;u ; i want something like that it's so cute aw
I don’t have any scarification [Or sacrification, lmao.] done anywhere on me.
If you’re talking about the dots on my ribs, that’s just a henna tattoo. :)
Moss Graffiti: A How To Guide
are you fucking for real
Oh man, i was actually looking for this the other day.
Yay it’s back to remind me of something awesome I haven’t gotten done yet
Cyber-psychologist Berni Goode talking about Flow on Charlie Brooker’s How Videogames Changed the World.
Flow is extremely important. So, so important.
It’s what keeps some people sane. It’s what drives the world’s most skilled and accomplished athletes, the most intense gamers, the hardcore hobbyists, even many of the most talented artists, musicians and actors - flow is what you get when unstoppable drive meets an unflinching will and unlimited dedication.
Flow is being utterly, truly “in the zone”. And it’s one of the most amazing feelings there is.
This is why finding a sport, or a hobby, or a martial art, or a handicraft, or a new video game, or any skill-based activity that uses focus and requires practice and repetition is so beneficial for things like depression and anxiety and overall mental/physical well-being.
This is why I hate it when people make fun of me for being a hardcore gamer. Games relax me when I’m stressed, anxious, nauseous, depressed, suicidal, etc.
It’s not a crutch, it’s not the easy way out, it’s just an effective tool for coping.
Well, that explains why I usually like to game when I’m having a really bad episode.
Best coping tool. I’d never heard it called Flow prior to watching this show though, I’d just always considered it a way to distract myself until whatever it was had passed.
People starving when tons of unsold food is thrown away globally because people couldn’t afford to purchase the food, that’s violence.
People dying and going bankrupt to pay for their healthcare, that’s violence.
People being evicted from their homes when there are more houses than there are houseless people, that’s violence.Capitalism is violence.
And before anyone says it, no the system isn’t broken, it was built this way.
- calling the legitimate anger of oppressed people “drama” or “hate”
- referring to allocation of human rights as simply “politics”
- referring to basic human empathy as “political correctness”
- the childlike refusal to admit mistakes and throwing a literal tantrum
- "it’s just my opinion"
When aliens in galaxies 70 million light years away look through a telescope at Earth, they see dinosaurs.
So many people have been all over one of my photos lately waffling on about how artistic it is and how there’s so much meaning behind it.
Little do they know I only took the photo because I thought it would look cool and there’s no meaning behind it whatsoever. I never even claimed that it had deeper meaning or artistic message, so I have no idea where people are getting all that from.
